That was a bit high tech, for a privateer, at the time.
Imagine what could be done today, with the advances in computing power and integration.
And it has about as much in common with a Fiero as a Ferrari does.
Just wear your damn mask...

Didn't they have the THM-425 transmission in them?

So this video is awful. I blame it all on cocaine, not the 80's. I know it's not the W8. Ninety mph in first and then 160 mph in second? Really? Really... was it a GM 3 speed? Can any one find the episode of Remington Steele that featured the Vector W2? When it was called the "Hunter Jet Star 6000." I love that name.

Which was an aftermarket kit, not official GM, and certainly not official Ferrari.
Some were modified, and sold turn-key through pontiac dealers, but GM didn't build them with GM body parts.
And a Mera still isn't a 308, any more than it or a stock fiero are a Vector W-8.

If you're seriously associated the word "vapourware" with the Vector W8 TT, you have no idea of what you're talking about.
